Community Speedwatch group

Good Afternoon,

After a recent PACT meeting in Trecynon it has become apparent to us that members of the community would like to set up a Community speed watch group.

If you would be interested in joining this group please reply to this message. Your details will then be passed to GoSafe Wales.

GoSafe will organise and oversee training for the group. This is a voluntary group.

To start, there will need to be a minimum of 6 people interested in joining and on each speed exercise 3 volunteers must be in attendance. 

Further details will be given by GoSafe if the relevant level of interest is raised.

As your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team we want to help offer this opportunity to the community.

This will not replace exercises of speed enforcement already undertaken by GoSafe or the Police it will be in addition.
